We are delighted to have already scooped up two fantastic awards this year. Thanks to everyone who voted for us to win the 2018 Moneyfacts Consumer Award for best peer-to-peer provider for the third year running. We also won the 2018 Moneynet Award for best peer-to-peer provider for the fourth time in a row. We are also very pleased to be shortlisted for the 2018 Moneywise Customer Service Awards, and again we’d like to thank all who voted for us.
Improving our customer services
We pride ourselves on offering an excellent, award-winning, service to customers that contact us, but are always looking for ways to further improve it further. With this in mind, we are establishing a dedicated team for investor customer services and one for borrowers so that we can deal with customer enquiries to an even higher standard. From Tuesday 1 May, while we move towards this new set-up, we are changing our Customer Services opening hours on weekdays to 9am-5:30pm.
Member bonus scheme
We have introduced a new bonus scheme for existing RateSetter investors that recommend us to friends and family members. When you refer a friend and they invest £1000, you will receive a £50 bonus. Your friend will also receive a £100 bonus if they keep their £1000 invested with us for a year. More detail can be found by logging into your account and clicking “Refer a friend” at the top of the screen.
The RateSetter ISA has proved to be very popular with investors since we launched in February. Soon you’ll also be able to transfer existing ISAs into RateSetter, and we are activating this function for investors shortly. Stay tuned for further announcements.
