There’s still time to use this year’s tax-free ISA allowance

Investors have until midnight 5th April to use their £20,000 tax-free ISA allowance for the current year. With under one week left, we wanted to share some tips and information about our Customer Services opening times.

Funding your RateSetter ISA

To fund your RateSetter ISA using your tax-free allowance for the current tax year, please ensure that your money is in your RateSetter ISA holding account before midnight on Friday 5th April. There are several ways you can deposit funds into your RateSetter ISA.  Each works at a different speed, so we’ve listed below the latest time that payments can be made into ISAs for this tax year:

  • Debit Card Payment: 8pm on Friday 5th April
  • Faster Payments: 6pm on Friday 5th April
  • CHAPS: 2:30pm on Friday 5th April
  • BACS: the deadline has now passed

To be on the safe side, it is always worth confirming timings directly with your bank before making a payment. When making a bank transfer, please remember to specify the account details for your ISA as your reference.

Extended Customer Services opening hours

To ensure that we are available to answer any ISA queries you may have, we are extending our opening hours on Friday 5th April until midnight.

You can contact us on 020 3142 6226.

We will reopen as usual at 9am on Saturday 6th April.
