Transfer your ISA without affecting your allowance

Transfers from previous tax years don't affect your current annual £20,000 ISA allowance, and there is no limit on how much you can transfer to us. There is also no limit on the number of different ISAs you can transfer.

You may want to transfer your ISA/s to a different provider to either obtain a better annual rate, or to simplify your ISA portfolio by having all of your investments in one place.

If you want to transfer money you’ve invested in an ISA during the current year you must transfer all of it.

What can I transfer in?

You can transfer in any number of Cash ISAs, Stocks & Shares ISAs and other Innovative Finance ISAs. Transfers In from previous tax years don't affect your current annual £20,000 ISA allowance, and there is no limit on how much you can Transfer In. There is also no limit on the number of different ISAs you can transfer to us.

How long does it take to transfer my ISA to RateSetter?

Your ISA transfer(s) should take no longer than 15 working days for a Cash ISA, 30 working days for a Stocks & Shares ISA or an Innovative Finance ISA.
